Apparently the Dutch conceptual designers at Lernert & Sander missed the lesson about playing with food when they were kids. They were commissioned by Dutch newspaper De Volskrant to create a piece for their food photography issue. Lernert and Sander created an incredibly precise staggered grid arrangement of 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5" cubes of 98 unprocessed foods before snapping the very impressive photos. Limited edition prints of the photo are available from the artists. Read more at: http://lernertandsander.com/cubes/ and http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2015/05/cubes-lerner-sander/
